The Bedford Education Foundation (BEF) is pleased to announce that it is awarding 4 grants to Bedford Educators for its 2018 grant cycle.
This year grants have been awarded to the following individuals:
- John Boucher and Ed Joyce, District Science Coordinator and Ross A. Lurgio Principal: Boston College Educational Seismology Project
- Shannon Oliveira, McKelvie Intermediate School: Collaborative and Proactive Solutions
- Meghan Lydon, Bedford High School: Teacher Study Abroad in Costa Rica
- Bob Jozokos, Bedford High School: Organic World Language Training
In 2018 alone, BEF awarded over $21,000 to schools and educators to advance its goal of improving education in Bedford. The BEF maintiains its partnership with the Bedford Rotary to generously fund educational grants. Bedford Kids First Trust also continues to contribute generous funds towards specific grant in support of our mutual goal to support teachers and students in Bedford schools.
